Behavioral Health Interagency Cooperative
The Behavioral Health Interagency Cooperative was tasked by the Governor through Executive Order 2011-01 (EO) to: Facilitate the transformation of Idaho's behavioral health system in accordance with the provisions; coordinate interagency efforts regarding substance use disorders; and present a status report of its efforts to the Office of the Governor on an annual basis beginning on November 1, 2011. The Cooperative was an implementation body for the Plan for the Transformation of the Behavioral Health System of October, 2010, produced by the Behavioral Health Transformation Workgroup in coordination with stakeholders statewide. The Executive Order sunset in January 2013.
Idaho citizens and their families have appropriate access to quality services provided through the publicly funded mental health and substance use disorders systems that are coordinated, efficient, accountable and focused on recovery.
